Want to help our girls learn how to operate and maneuver our boats; kayaks, SUP and Canoe? By completing this training you are able to facilitate small watercrafts on GSCB properties for two years. In this course you will learn information and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to small craft water emergencies. You will also practice leading a group.

This course does not certify lifeguarding.

There is no charge for training. However, please note that by becoming trained, you will be asked to facilitate for groups throughout the year based on your availability. If you do not facilitate events within two years of your training, you will be asked to pay back the cost of your training. This will be outlined for you in an agreement.  Spots are extremely limited, so please only complete training if you are willing to facilitate in the future. 

Please bring a water bottle, towel, bathing suit/clothes to swim in, water shoes and a change of clothes. We will be training in the water.
